Victorian Fireplace Surround Black Slate with Marbleised Inserts
This stunning salvaged Victorian painted slate fireplace surround has been removed from a Victorian Home circa 1894.
Reclaimed Victorian painted slate fireplace surround with simple geometric corbels supporting the shelf with a bevelled moulded edge. Circa 1890.
The surround features painted marbleised inserts in a speckled terrazzo like pattern.
Has been removed by a stonemason and is in 5 pieces
Overall Measures: 1665mm wide x 1190mm high x 270mm deep
Pedestals are 250mm wide x 90mm deep
Opening is 905mm wide x 960mm high
Cast iron Inner is not included but up for sale separately
Tiled Hearth is not included as it could not be salvaged.
Condition: In very good condition, only selling due to demolition.
